Definition of the term "Service" 01/12/2012
I became confused when I heard the word "Service" used with these agencies: Internal Revenue 'Service' U.S. Postal 'Service' Telephone 'Service' Cable TV 'Service' Civil 'Service' State, City, County & Public 'Service' Customer 'Service' This is not what I thought 'Service' meant. But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us. Today, the government is obliged to act for the benefit of the poor and out of work' and in so doing it has kept the true workers of society on the sidelines. Today the call for philanthropy is to the job creators that can get us from the tent cities of the unemployed to the values that our parents knew that a dollar spent in creative productive activity is the best dollar spent. I call for all people to consider their businesses. If their business need to be relocated or renegotiated to compete in our global economy then do so. We need to make tough decisions that are correct for the creation of jobs as needed in our economy no matter what the difficulty. In areas that are overwhelmed with overwhelming overheads the choices need to be considered. What we need to do is create the new America that best suits the fit of business today via an new phianthropy that is focused on the new conditions lending toward the overall human good. There are so many ways that we can improve our economy and philanthropy needs to evolve. Our philanthropists need to move from the do right from the unemployed to the do right for employment. The public sector has enough tools at their disposal to supply for the common good. The problem is that with-out jobs those tools will become no longer useable Tomorrows well being relies on the revolution of jobs, profits, employment, self fulfillment, and the well belong of the American public. 2012 will be the year of the short sale. 01/09/2012
You may owe federal income taxes in 2013 if you have a short sale, foreclosure WASHINGTON – Jan. 9, 2012 – You may owe federal income taxes in 2013 if you have a short sale, foreclosure after this year. Now is the time to make the hard decision: Are you going to walk away from your underwater home? Uncle Sam is still giving homeowners until Dec. 31, 2012, to go through a short sale or foreclosure without tax consequences – as long as the lender officially releases the debt. But on Jan. 1, 2013, the rules change: The amount a lender forgives, ether in a short sale or foreclosure, on a primary residence will be taxable on federal income taxes. So if a house sold $50,000 short of what is owed on the mortgage, then the selling homeowners will owe federal income taxes on that $50,000. Homeowners would owe $12,500 if they’re in the 25 percent bracket; $7,500 if in the 15 percent tax section. Homeowners would be on the hook even if the house sold but the bank had not formally forgiven the loan in a letter: The banks must officially sign off in writing before Dec. 31. reprinted by permission from Florida Realtor Welcome to my Website 01/03/2012

While predominately designed for people who are relocating here from out of the area, I think that many others will find it useful because it is a guide to getting the most from our area if you want it.
